چکیده

This paper determined the supplementary materials in ninth-grade mathematics which may be enhanced to integrate growth mindset principles improve students’ procedural fluency and foster their mathematics. study employed a descriptive-developmental method by administering quasi-experimental design mixed-method research approach determine questions. The respondents this were 60 students at state secondary high school Philippines. implemented validated researcher-made test questionnaire determining performance mathematics, respectively. Thematic analysis was investigate responses Focus Group Discussions (FGD), informal interviews learning journals scrutinising experiences mindsets of students. Findings displayed that can developed incorporating motivational activities, reflection instructional videos. Utilising elevates fluency. It influences shift from fixed providing them with significant help enhance mindset. Furthermore, implementation group performed better than comparison group, particularly developing mindsets. results are limited participants encompassing; similar employing other areas larger sample is recommended for more generalisable results.

An Analysis of a Ninth Grade Mathematics Intervention

Many ninth grade students are required to take Algebra I, and extra support is needed for underprepared students. A common solution is to double the amount of mathematics instruction but educators do not agree on how to use the extra time. One common intervention is to enroll these students in a year long Algebra I course, where they are taught Algebra during these double class periods. We comp...
